HeppSY Launch New Online Offer: Here to Help

Tuesday 12th May 2020

HeppSY, the Higher Education Progression Partnership South Yorkshire, has this week launched a brand new online offer for 2020 in response to the current Covid 19 pandemic.

The free resources are called Here to Help and are now available on the HeppSY website. These resources can be used with all Year 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13 students and have been made relevant to each year group.

The resources are available to support online and home learning and can be used in conjunction with the current curriculum. They include help for those students feeling unsure about their future and wanting to explore their options, as well as covering key topics such as student finance, pathways into certain careers, and how to secure your dream offer after school.

Sharon Woodward-Baker, HeppSY Programme Manager, says: “We hope our new offer can support students, their families and staff. They are free to use and created by our experienced team. The resources can support your enrichment or careers curriculum. They increase awareness about higher education and help students address uncertainties about progression.”

HeppSY aims to support young people most at risk of missing out on higher education. It is part of the newly launched Uni Connect programme funded by the Office for Students (OfS). You can find a wealth of additional resources on HeppHUB, a new HeppSY Outreach Hub, which is also free to access: www.hepp.ac.uk.
