Truly Brilliant!
A special mention to Wickersley School Year 9 students who have completed their Brilliant Club Scholars Programme final assignments this week. The Brilliant Club is an award-winning university access charity that works with schools. With Dr Tamsyn Frazer from the University of Sheffield they have been exploring how the study of zoo-archaeology information can help us to better understand our past.
As well as completing tutorials and project work on top of their existing school work for the last few months, in this last week all the students below have completed a 15000 word final assignment from home – due in at midnight on Wednesday!
The work that they have completed independently has been to a fantastic standard. This is part of HeppSY funded work in school and the students will eventually get to graduate at a special ceremony at The University of Sheffield.
HeppSY pass on a massive well done to all students involved in The Brilliant Club, at Wickersley School and other partner schools. We’d also like to thank Careers Leader, Rachel Mullins for coordinating the scheme in Wickersley School and sharing this good news story with us!
