Calling all practitioners working with Care Experienced learners who are considering HE as an option.

To coincide with Care Day, Go Higher West Yorkshire are focussing this free online CPD session on Care Experienced learners, a group at risk of equality of opportunity when progressing to Higher Education.

Join GHWY, and Inspiring Choices to hear more examples of how we support Care Experienced learners to progress into Higher Education. By the end of the session you will know more about how the HE sector supports Care Experienced learners, and what opportunities, resources and activities are out there specially tailored to meet the needs of these learners.

Would you like to know more about the changes to the UCAS Personal Statements?

Go Higher West Yorkshire, in partnership with Advancing Access, would like to invite you to an online CPD session to provide an overview of personal statement reform, detailing the new process and giving advice and guidance on how you can best support your learners through the process.

As part of this CPD session, you will hear from key speaker Jennifer Barton, Student Recruitment Manager at Durham University. Her role involves forging relationships with schools and colleges across the country and working with teachers and advisers to help provide them with information about higher education.

Go Higher West Yorkshire, in partnership with the Student Loans Company, are holding an online CPD session to update you on student finance for 2025 HE entrants. Sammie Hutchinson, Funding Information Services Account Manager at the Student Loans Company, will cover all you need to know if you are advising KS5 learners on applying for student finance.
